- (WA 94) 2800 bottles made. Deep-purple-crimson appearance. This has a simply stunning nose of wild strawberry, sweet herb, tarragon, and brambleberry in a superripe but not jammy style; very complex. Full bodied, dry but luscious and round, wonderful velour-like texture, seductive juicy black fruit and wild berry flavours, soft ripe tannins. Carries the 14.5% alc majestically. Long Finish. Outstanding. Decant ½ hour ahead if drinking now; this will drink well to 2015 and beyond. more...wine type: Red Wine | By the Bottle units per case
- (RP 95) The 2006 Antonini Izquierdo is a bit more reticent and structured. Intense, layered and complex, it too requires extended cellaring and should be at its peak from 2018-2040. This is the debut wine in this journal from Antonino Izquierdo. It appears to be a name worth remembering. more...wine type: Red Wine | units per case
