- Vina Esencia was started in 2006 by Elisabetta Cassinelli and Paolo Addis, with the desire to create a company operating in a fair and responsible manner, producing great wines of great value. Vina Esencia uses agricultural practices with low environmental impact, and supports environmental groups through membership of “One Percent for the Planet” - an alliance of companies that help support environmental projects. Vina Esencia also supports a NGO that works to provide people in Africa and Asia with access to clean water, sanitation facilities and hygience education. Thereby helping them raise themselves out of poverty and allowing them the most basic human necessities. Vina Esencia practices organic viticulture out of respect for the land, their vines and the environment. Vines that are not over-cropped provide healthier fruit, thereby removing the need for powerful pesticide sprays, and the quality of the grapes is higher when the plants are in balanced production. more...wine type: Red Wine | 12 Bottle Case units per case
