The History
Joé Chandellier is a newcomer to the world of wine with his first vintage being 2019. His vineyards are mostly located in the village of Souvignargues in the Languedoc, where several other natural winemakers (including Thierry Forestier) reside. Another smaller plot and his cellar are a 15 minute drive away in St.Côme et Maruejols.
The Philosophy
Joé Chandellier is working with mentor Alain Allier (who’s been making wine for about 15 years) to make wines in a low-interventionist manner with Organically grown fruit (with hopes to convert to Biodynamics in the coming years).
