The History
Venchiarezza is a small family run estate in the heart of Friuli Venezia Giulia’s Colli Orientali, just outside Cividale del Friuli. The winery focuses on organically farmed native varieties like Ribolla Gialla, Friulano and Refosco, grown on classic ponca soils of marl and sandstone that give the wines their tension, minerality and aromatic lift.
The Philosophy
In the cellar, the approach is intentionally restrained. Grapes are hand harvested, fermentations are largely spontaneous, and ageing takes place in stainless steel or neutral wood to preserve freshness and purity. Minimal sulphur and low intervention methods allow each variety to express the region’s unique balance of Alpine influence and Adriatic breezes.
The result is a range of clean, vibrant, terroir expressive wines that showcase the elegance that define the Colli Orientali.
