“Stile Antico” is a frizzante red from Lambrusco Salamino (≈80%) and Lambrusco di Sorbara (≈20%), with blend ratios adjusted annually to reflect vintage character. This Lambrusco is produced using the ancestral method (“metodo ancestrale”), a traditional technique from Emilia. It involves natural, in-bottle secondary fermentation using only native yeasts; no added sugars or commercial yeasts. The result is dry, fresh and vivacious, offering bright flavours of cherry and blueberry, complemented by subtle floral and herbal notes.

Located in Ravarino, just outside Modena, Marchesi di Ravarino works on the historic Podere Castel Crescente estate, known as “I Monti.” Its viticultural roots stretch back to 1200, and the family’s winemaking tradition was revived in 2010 by Angelo Marchesi and continued by his son, Nicola. Today, the estate is firmly committed to organic farming and low‑intervention vinification methods.
