A Loire winemaker takes on Languedoc Grenache and Cinsault.
While Domaine de l’Ecu is best known for its biodynamically farmed vineyards in Muscadet, Trinity belongs to the estate's negoce project: Le Temps des Copains. It allows Fred and Claire Niger to work with organically and biodynamically farmed fruit from growers beyond their own vineyards and explore grapes that do not grow at home.
Trinity brings together 80% Grenache and 20% Cinsault, handled with the same low-intervention approach that defines Domaine de l’Ecu.
Crushed strawberry, raspberry and fresh red cherry meet dried herbs, thyme and a touch of spice. Fine tannins and bright acidity. Fresh and remarkably easy to drink.
