2023 Domaine des Marnes Blanches Trousseau

A pure expression of Jura Trousseau. Based in Sainte-Agnès in the southern Jura, Pauline and Géraud Fromont farm organically, working with the region’s distinctive marl and limestone soils and keeping intervention in the cellar to a minimum.

The Trousseau is harvested by hand and fermented spontaneously with native yeasts, followed by gentle ageing and minimal sulphur. The aim is simple: let the grape and its Jura origins do the talking.

Wild cherry, raspberry and crunchy red berries meet rose petals, white pepper and earthy spice. Light on its feet, with lively acidity, supple tannins and a distinctly mineral finish.
