Gewürztraminer has long been one of the signature grapes of Turckheim, where the warm, dry climate once pushed the wines toward richness, high alcohol, and often noble rot. Today, earlier ripening and warmer growing seasons have shifted the style, allowing for greater freshness and a naturally drier expression.
This cuvée ferments fully dry each year, showing the variety with more precision and less weight. In 2023, fruit from the Herrenweg sector, usually reserved in part for Roche Roulée, was directed here entirely, adding even more depth and character to the wine.
