100% Sangiovese from biodynamically farmed estate parcels bordering Biondi-Santi’s Il Greppo, planted between roughly 320 and 400m on limestone, marl, sandstone and marine influenced soils. Spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts and gentle extraction, followed by ageing in large neutral Stockinger casks to preserve purity and structure. Bottled without fining or filtration.
Expect lifted aromas of sour cherry, blood orange, red currant and rose, layered with dried herbs, crushed stone and subtle spice. The palate is vibrant and linear with firm yet polished tannins, bright acidity and a mineral finish that carries length and finesse.
