Gian Luca Colombo’s wines are born in the Langhe, guided by deep respect for the environment and the purity of each varietal. Since winning the Giulio Gambelli Prize in 2014, Italy’s highest recognition for young winemakers, he has emerged as one of Piedmont’s most compelling new voices.

This mixed case contains 6 bottle of wines.

2 bottles: 2021 Gian Luca Colombo Barolo
This exceptional biodynamic Barolo comes from small parcels in Roddi and the Langhe. Macerations run long, typically 25 to 55 days depending on the character of the vintage. Aging begins with the required 18 months in large Austrian oak, then transitions to amphora, cement or bottle.

2 bottles: 2023 Gian Luca Colombo Langhe Nebbiolo
100% Nebbiolo from a vineyard over fifty years old. The vineyard is strong and complex, one that that Gian Luca is still getting to know! Grapes were macerated for 25 to 50 days at controlled temperatures at times with submerged cap, in big Austrian barrels and sometimes also in terracotta. Bottled after 12-14 months.

2 bottles: 2024 Gian Luca Colombo Verduno Pelaverga
Because production is tiny and parcels are limited, wines like this remain rare. Typically pale in colour, much like Nebbiolo, the variety is defined by its aromatic profile, led by white pepper, layered with delicate floral notes of rose and lavender, and finished with a subtle touch of spice. Gian Luca Colombo recommends pairing his Pelaverga with seafood for an unexpected and rewarding match.
