Frekt is Lammidia's prized Pecorino coming from their home vineyard on a mountainside outside 12th-century commune Villa Celiera. Healthy Pecorino grapes are hand-harvested and destemmed, and the juice macerates with the skins for several days-a week depending on the vintage resulting in a textural-white wine more than a true orange wine. After pressing the wine chills out in stainless steel for a few months before bottling with absolutely NO added sulfites or any other additions. In the case of the 2022 expect intense citrus, apricot, and honey notes with pronounced minerality and crunchy acidity.
