Juicy, joyful and FUN Burgundy! Gaminot is a blend of 60% Gamay, 20% Pinot Noir, 10% Aligoté, 10% Chardonnay. Once the grapes have been harvested and selected by hand, the Gamay and Aligoté grapes are co-fermented in whole bunches in a large open wooden vat in the winery. The Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are vinified in stainless steel tanks with native yeasts. Then the wine ages for 12 months in used French oak barrels. Finally, they are blended and the resulting wine is bottled without clarifying, filtering or adding SO2. On the nose there is violet, cherry and flowers. On the palate it is easy to drink and light-bodied with very pleasant tannins and balanced acidity. Plum and cherry flavours. The finish has a light touch of oak.
