2024 Chant de la Terre Pinot Noir

This rustic organic Pinot Noir comes from clay-limestone soils in the Languedoc. Vinification begins with a cold pre-fermentation maceration followed by a gentle extraction via pigeage. The grapes spend 8-10 days on skins under temperature control. 20% of the wine is aged for three months in French oak barrels, the remainder stays in stainless steel tanks. The finished wine has an alcohol level of 12.5% by volume.

Tasting Note
Pale ruby in colour. Aromas of red and black cherry, subtle smoke and fine mineral undertone. On the palate the wine delivers fresh cranberry and red plum, a whisper of forest floor, soft tannins, and a clean, elegant finish.
