100% Carignan from mature, dry-farmed vines which are intentionally grown under a full canopy to protect the fruit from over-ripening or sunburn.
Paler than Pinot Noir and just as seductive. An early harvested Carignan that's beautifully aromatic, mineral-driven, with plenty of fruit - rose petal, crushed red berries, pomegranate, raspberry seed, and a hint of potting soil. Delicious with a light chill.
The Story
Baby Bandito is a project Craig and Carla Hawkins started in 2015. They wanted to work with vineyards that produce wines drinkable at a young age while overdelivering in quality. The labels are heavily influenced by street artists.
“Follow your Dreams” is a quote made famous by the street artist, Banksy, who says “All art is stolen”... so the clever crew at Testalonga stole his quote. Chances are, you'd want to steal this wine.
