2023 Flo Busch Let it Flow, Vin de France

A vibrant natural old-vine red with serious drink-me-now charm!

Crafted by Flo Busch in Montpeyroux, it is made from 85% Grenache Noir from roughly 30-year-old vines grown on calcareous gravel and large river pebbles with high quartz content, along with 15% Carignan from a 65-year-old vineyard rooted in yellow and blue limestone marl, sandstone, pebbles and fossil rich soils.

The grapes are hand harvested. Maceration lasts 14 days with about 35% whole cluster retained, supported by gentle pump overs for a light and balanced tannin structure. Fermentation is spontaneous with native yeasts. The wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered, and total sulphur remains low at 27mg/L.

Tasting note: Bright garnet colour with aromas of red and black berries, cherry, liquorice, garrigue herbs, anise seed and violet. The palate is silky and juicy with fine tannins, a subtle medicinal and herbal lift and a fresh, spirited finish.
