Filodivino’s Lacrima is a vibrant, aromatic red crafted from organically farmed vineyards in Morro d’Alba, the historic home of this variety. The estate sits just inland from the Adriatic, where cooling breezes and clay limestone soils help preserve the intense perfume and lively acidity that define this distinctive variety.
The 2022 vintage is hand harvested and fermented at controlled temperatures to retain purity of fruit and floral lift. Ageing takes place in stainless steel to protect Lacrima’s natural aromatics, color and freshness. As with all Filodivino wines, farming is fully organic, and vineyard work emphasizes biodiversity and gentle handling.
Tasting note
Explosively aromatic with notes of violet, rose petal, sour cherry and wild berries. The palate is juicy, bright and lightly structured, showing crisp acidity, soft tannins and a fragrant, slightly spicy finish.
