Old vine Cinsault, Grenache, Syrah cultivated from Badenhorst's Kalmoesfontein home-farm and neighbouring vineyards. Layered notes of pepper, liquorice, perfume and black cherries on the nose. The palate is quite dense with velvety tannins, notes of lavender and dark berry fruit and a savoury finish.
