This Saint-Véran is a wine that would shows its more beautiful form after some decanting or a couple more years of bottle ageing.

Sourced from clay-limestone soils and vines averaging 20 to 40 years old, the wine is crafted utilizing indigenous yeasts and gentle pressing, followed by aging on the lees for 8 to 12 months in a mix of stainless steel tanks and used oak barrels to balance freshness with complexity.

Aromas are described as open and rich, with notes of ripe peach and pear, developing into hints of lemon curd, acacia, honeysuckle, fresh almond, gingerbread, cinnamon, and butter. There is also a subtle, well-integrated oak and a mineral, sometimes flinty, character.

Try it with seafood, deared foie gras, smoked salmon, grilled scallops, poultry dishes, and various goat and creamy cheeses like Comté or Beaufort.
