Alexandre Bain's negociant business came of a desire to vinify grape varieties that he doesn't grow on his domain, such as Gamay. He undertook a tour of France in search of the finest winemakers who would give him some of their grapes. His only criteria were that the vines be grown organically and the grapes be harvested by hand. In this case, the No.69 cuvée is made with Gamay grown in stony, alluvial soils. Showing notes of crushed red berries, red flowers and potting soil.
