2017 Alpamanta Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

The 2017 Alpamanta Estate Cabernet Sauvignon comes from biodynamically farmed vineyards in Ugarteche, Luján de Cuyo, at 950 metres above sea level. Fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged for 10 months in French oak, it is now showing the benefits of nearly a decade of evolution in bottle.

Blackberry and red fruit have developed into more savoury notes of dried herbs, spice, coffee and bark, with fine tannins, freshness and a long finish.

Alpamanta was founded in 2005 by Austrian Andrej Razumovsky and his partners as one of Argentina’s pioneering biodynamic wine projects. Its 35-hectare estate has been farmed with biodynamics at its core from the beginning.
