2021 Lunaria Bedda Nero d'Avola

Nero d'Avola is Sicily's signature red grape, known for its generous dark fruit, Mediterranean spice and supple texture. Bedda is Cantina Orsogna's take on the variety, made under its Lunaria label with an emphasis on biodynamic farming and minimal intervention in the cellar.

The wine undergoes spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts before ageing in cement tanks to preserve fruit character while allowing its savoury complexity to develop.

Ripe cherry, blackberry and plum meet violet, sweet spice and subtle balsamic notes. The palate is rounded and velvety, balanced acidity and a lingering, fruit-driven finish.
