2022 Domaine des Marnes Blanches Côtes du Jura 'Les Bernardines' Chardonnay

Les Bernardines comes from one of Jura's prized limestone sites, where shallow soils over fractured limestone produce Chardonnay of remarkable depth, tension, and longevity.

Pauline and Géraud Fromont founded Domaine de Marnes Blanches in 2006 and have become leading voices in Jura's new generation. Farming organically and harvesting entirely by hand. After spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts, the wine spends 34 months aging in large, neutral oak demi muids. The extended élevage builds texture and complexity while preserving the purity of the site.

Ripe pear, yellow apple, dried flowers, toasted hazelnut, and subtle spice unfold over a broad yet finely sculpted palate. Silky in texture, with deep mineral tension and a long, saline finish.
