2024 Marnes Blanches Coup de Jus 'Dionysos Is On Fire'

Beaujolais by way of the Jura. Pauline and Géraud Fromont are best known for the wines they grow and make at Domaine des Marnes Blanches in Sainte-Agnès, and Coup de Jus is their small négociant project, allowing them to work with organic fruit grown by friends beyond their own vineyards.

This is Gamay sourced from old vineyard parcels farmed organically by natural winemaker Bruno Debize in Beaujolais, harvested by hand and brought back to the Fromonts’ cellar in the Jura, where they ferment spontaneously with native yeasts and age in neutral demi-muids. Bottled unfined and unfiltered, with no added sulphur.
