2024 JC Wickens Oranje Blanje Chenin Blanc (Swartland, South Africa)
100% Chenin Blanc from dry farmed bush vines in the Swartland, organically farmed and harvested early for freshness. Whole bunch pressed with a portion fermented on skins using native yeasts, then aged in old oak for texture without oak flavour. Aromatic and gently structured, with notes of quince, yellow apple skin, chamomile, and citrus peel.
2020 Anapea Village Mtsvane Amber (Kakheti, Georgia)
Native Mtsvane fermented and aged in qvevri for balance and aromatic lift. Chamomile, crystallised ginger, and ripe apricot meet fresh acidity and subtle tannins for a persistent, elegant finish.
NV Cirelli Orange (Abruzzo, Italy)
A skin-contact white crafted from organically farmed Trebbiano grapes, spontaneously fermented on skins to build texture and depth. Delightfully aromatic, with notes of dried citrus peel, chamomile, orchard fruit, and gentle herbal spice. Fresh and lightly grippy, with bright acidity and a clean, savoury finish.
2023 Unico Zelo Esoterico Orange (Riverland & Clare Valley, Australia)
Esoterico is a beautiful aromatic blend of Zibibbo, Gewurtztraminer, Moscato Giallo, and Greco, made in a vibrant style that would satisfy most orange wine lovers. The wine allowed to clarify by gravity alone. The chief driver is pure drinkability - a 'scrumptious' quality - mouthwatering acidity and 'say hello!' tannins. It's a Bohemian at heart.
