2024 Marnes Blanches Coup de Jus ‘White Rabbit’

A little Savoie by way of the Jura. Pauline and Géraud Fromont’s Coup de Jus négociant project takes them beyond their own vineyards at Domaine des Marnes Blanches to work with organically farmed fruit from trusted growers elsewhere in France. The grapes may travel, but the winemaking remains entirely Marnes Blanches.

For White Rabbit, Jacquère comes from the alpine vineyards of Savoie. The grapes are whole-cluster pressed before fermenting and ageing on lees for ten months in a concrete egg, with minimal intervention throughout.

Bright citrus, pear and green apple meet a subtle touch of almond, with vibrant acidity and a salty, mineral finish. Crisp and refreshing.
