The Mâconnais, where the soils here are packed with limestone, and Chardonnay falls in love. Chardonnay grapes are harvested by hand and fermented with natural yeast. The wine ferments and is aged in neutral barrels. The warmer and drier climate gives fullness and roundness to the fruit in the wine, which is nicely balanced with a good dose of mineral, salt and freshness.
