2020 François de Nicolay Rully Les Maizieres Blanc

In Rully, the soils are rich in limestone which produces white wine that combines a more generous Burgundian fruit with mineral drive. The style makes them very similar to the wines from the Côte de Beaune, but with a significantly lower price tag. The vineyard Les Maizières is a famous growing site for Chardonnay and François' interpretation is a thirst-quenching, deep and subtle display of Rully.

Grapes are harvested by hand and fermented with natural yeast in old 500-litre barrels and then aged for 12 months before bottling.
